Self Drive Horsebox Hire

 Yes, it is stalled for two. However, you must observe the maximum vehicle weight of 3.5t. The payload is 1050kg  this weight being based on the lorry having a full tank of fuel, so you will need to calculate the weight of your intended equine and human passengers, along with any equipment you need to take along. 

 No, we ask that you don’t smoke anywhere inside the vehicle 

A £100 REFUNDABLE deposit is required 24hours before the hire is due to start. 

This is refunded only if there is no damage to the horsebox on return. 

In the event of an accident, or where the horsebox has sustained excess damage,  you will be liable to pay the insurance excess (£500 for hirers aged 25-75 and £700 aged 22-24).

 No, you will need to bring along your own water carrier.

 No, we arrange this for you as part of our service . Fully comprehensive insurance is provided. Drivers aged 25 to 75 will be liable for the £500.00 excess in the event of an accident or incident. For drivers aged 23 and 24 the excess is £700.00.
Please note that we do not insure your horse. We advise that you have your own insurance to cover your horse/s 

Yes you are welcome to use whatever you need to travel your horse/s in comfort and safety. We ask that you clear all bedding droppings and hay out at the end of your hire. There is no need to wash or rinse the horse area out, we will wash and disinfect it all thoroughly after your return.

Payment is non-refundable. However, where cancellation is made 7 days in advance of your booking, you can use your booking to be redeemed within months. 

 Our insurance does not cover your horse/s. We advise that you have suitable insurance cover for your horse. 

yes, the horsebox is not a euro 6. Please ensure that you make me aware if you have travelled through a clean air zone and £10 will be deducted from your £100 deposit.

Failure to do so will mean that you are liable to pay the £70 council charge.
